Maria is dedicated to helping Residents achieve speedy recoveries and regain their independence. She came to Wichita Center after attending Barton Community College and loves the wonderful caring and supportive team.
Heather Buckley
Director of Rehabilitation
Heather graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. Her primary focus is helping patients and residents achieve independence and designing therapeutic programs that enable them to resume their lives—even after major illness or injury.
Chris Yocum
Director of Nursing
Chris attended Wichita Area Vocational Technical School, becoming an LPN, and later earned an Associate Degree, Applied Science in Nursing, at Pratt Community College. “We have a wonderful team,” Chris says, “with great knowledge and years of experience. We work together to ensure our residents are treated with dignity and respect.”

Our team also works hard to keep therapies as consistent as possible, tracking all communications through an advanced electronic medical record system. This ensures immediate transmission of information across the entire care network.
